The Silence
- The Eleventh Hour: Prisoner Zero says "The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall."
- Vampires of Venice: Rosanna Calvierri says the Saturnyne ran away from the Silence, when the Doctor and Rory enter the TARDIS at the end everything suddenly goes silent. Before Isobella is fed to the brothers, Rosanna reads the following from a scroll: "...and so in memory of the children lost to The Silence, the traitor is delivered to the arms of those she betrayed."
- The Pandorica Opens: A voice in the TARDIS says "Silence will fall."
- A Christmas Carol: Abigail's song mentions silence.
- The Impossible Astronaut: Introduced to what we'll presume are the Silence properly - white, wrinkly fellows in suits with big clunky hands. They can kill by electrocuting you and blowing you up. You forget them once you look away from them. Amy takes a picture of one on her phone. Only the Doctor hasn't seen them yet.
- Day of the Moon: ...Well.
Time can be rewritten
- Flesh and Stone: The Doctor mentions it at the end.
- A Christmas Carol: The Doctor mentions and does it.
- The Impossible Astronaut: The Doctor gets killed, Amy suggests doing something about it because time can be rewritten, but River tells her not to.
Building a TARDIS
- The Lodger: The top floor of Craig's house turns out to be a built TARDIS.
- The Impossible Astronaut: Below the warehouse, Rory and River find the same console room. Three Silence are waiting outside it.
- Day of the Moon: The built TARDIS belongs to the Silence! The Silence are pretty solidly shut down - so how'd it get to Aickman Road?
